PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis adjusting system wherein a light receiving element is irradiated with laser beams radiated from a semiconductor laser in an optical pickup using a hologram unit. SOLUTION: In an optical head device having constitution wherein light beams reflected from a signal recording medium are received by a photodetector 2 using a diffraction element 6, the semiconductor laser 1 emitting the light beams and the photodetector 2 are housed into the same package 7 and also the hologram unit wherein the diffraction element 6 is integrally arranged on the upper surface of the package 7 is constituted, the package 7 and a housing main body 8 holding the package are formed on a slide-contact surface having a circular spherical surface so as to come into slide-contact with each other and the optical axis is adjusted by bringing the package 7 into slide-contact and adjusting it. |
