PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barcode reader capable of obtaining a POS terminal capable of easily and accurately reading a merchandise unit price and a system utilizing the barcode reader. SOLUTION: In this system provided with the barcode reader 10 for reading a barcode 12 and transmitting read data and a POS terminal main body 14 for receiving the read data, the reader 10 is provided with a displaying part 16, also reads the barcode 12 and transmits the read data to the POS terminal main body 14, and the POS terminal main body 14 prepares display data on the basis of the read data, transmits the display data to the reader 10 to display the display data on the displaying part 16. |
