PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel quality discrimination method and device that can simply and surely discriminate channel quality at an installed position of an antenna of a base station in a subscriber wireless system or the like so as to facilitate the installation of the antenna of the base station in the subscriber wireless system or the like. SOLUTION: A rifle scope 20 and a field intensity meter for measuring the field intensity of a center area of a visual field of the rifle scope 20 are fitted to an antenna body 10, the field intensity measured by the field intensity meter is displayed in the visual field of the rifle scope 20 and the channel quality at the installed position of the antenna body 10 is discriminated based on the displayed field intensity.
