DELAY CIRCUIT AND RING OSCILLATOR EMPLOYING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delay circuit which has a simple circuit configuration and which can be formed in an integrated circuit without the need of a wide area and realize a discretionary delay time and to provide a ring oscillator employing this delay circuit. SOLUTION: The delay circuit is provided with 1st and 2nd IIL inverters 101, 102 that are connected in cascade and with a capacitor 104 placed between the ground and the connecting point of both inverters. The delay circuit is provided with a current adjustment circuit 103 consisting of at least a 3rd IIL inverter having output terminals, at least one of which is connected to the input terminal. The current adjustment circuit 103 is connected to the delay circuit to adjust the charge current of the capacitor 104.
