PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic heater 24 comprising a heater 32 not depending on resistance per unit length or an heat gradient in the longitudinal direction of the heater 24. SOLUTION: In this heating means, when the resistance (a heating amount) per unit length in a range corresponding to a paper passing area W2 is different from the resistance per unit length in a range W3 out of the paper passing area W2 in at least one heater 32 formed on an insulation substrate 31, the resistance per unit length is controlled according to (1) the thickness of the heater or (2) a resistivity of a resistor constituting the heater, to control the heat gradient in the longitudinal direction of the heater without depending on the width of the heater. |
