PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rotating machine in which a bearing holder and an insulator can be combined without decreasing the precision in the radial direction of the inner peripheral surface which holds a bearing. SOLUTION: A combining structure between a bearing holder 9 and an insulator 37 comprises one or more recesses 9c formed on the front edge of the bearing holder 9 and one or more protrusions 45b arranged in the insulator 37 and tightly engage with the recesses 9c of the bearing holder 9. In the condition that the protrusion 45b is engaged in the concave 9c, peripheral portions of the protrusion 45b and the recess 9c are heated, deformed, and joined mutually. |
