PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting capacitor by which the number of parts is eliminated to reduce their volume and height, and an electrolyte solution can be injected accurately and quickly and a failure rate in the production step can be suppressed because an opening of a casing is made large, and furthermore, such a sucking and holding mechanism that is resulted from the casing having a flat surface, can offer sucking and holding function and is applicable for the manufacturing step of different surface mounting technology. SOLUTION: An inner plate 200 and a capacitance member 300 are arranged inside a casing 100, and two lead wires 310 of the capacitance member 300 are formed projecting to the casing 100. A housing chamber is filled with a mold resin and an electrolyte solution, and an opening 140 of the casing 100 is sealed with an outer plate 400 and the lead wires 310 are bent and housed inside a recessed groove 121 of the casing 100.
