PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of capturing a plurality of images suitable for a multiple image processing with a relatively simple configuration. SOLUTION: A reflecting mirror 2 placed in an optical path between an image forming optical system 1 and an image pickup element 3 captures the image when tilted to an image capturing position, consecutive to that the mirror is tilted infinitesimally to capture the image under the condition wherein the relative positioning between an object image and the image pickup element is changed. Thus, it is possible to provide an image pickup device capable of capturing a plurality of images suitable for the multiple image processing wherein the relative positioning between the object image and the image pickup element is different.
