PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure satisfactory communication as an antenna device for a cellular phone. SOLUTION: Since a line conductor pattern 80 is connected to a feeder terminal 10 together with an antenna 50, the line conductor pattern 80 operates as a sub-antenna for the antenna body 50. Along with this arrangement, the line conductor patter 80 is formed almost orthogonal to the antenna body 50. Therefore, when a cellular phone is used tilting its antenna 50 almost horizontally to the ground, the phone can be used so that the direction of the line conductor pattern 80 is brought close to the direction of the antenna of a base station. Hence, satisfactory communication can be obtained by this antenna device.
