PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk clamping device capable of surely preventing the generation of cracks in a disk in the case of loading/unloading the disk, and a motor equipped with the same. SOLUTION: A turntable 7 is provided with first and second center rings 21 and 26. The first center ring 21 is made of rubber, and freely moved in the range of first to second positions of an axial direction with respect to the turntable 7. The first center ring 21 is provided with a locking mechanism for holding it in the first and second positions. After a disk D is fitted in the first and second center rings 21 and 26, when the planar part 21a of the first center ring 21 is pressed, an extended part 21c is regulated for its movement by the turntable 7, and elastically deformed outward in a diameter direction to form a protruded part. The disk D is pressed by the protruded part and held. In the case of the loading/unloading of the disk D, no stress is applied on the disk.
