PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric device and its control method which can complete an introduction setting operation without unexpectedly interrupting the setting operation, or can automatically start the setting operation to complete it, until completed, if this operation ends without completing it. SOLUTION: The device has an introduction setting condition storing means which previously stores a message 'introduction setting registration incomplete' as an initial condition, stores a message 'introduction setting registration complete' when a setting registration is completed about all setting information constituting introduction setting information groups by an introduction setting operating means, and holds this storing condition even when the device power is interrupted. When the device power is set on, the device checks the storing condition of the setting condition storing means and, if the message 'introduction setting registration incomplete' is stored, starts the setting operating means, but, if the massage 'introduction setting registration complete' is stored, does not execute the introduction setting operation. |
