PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage generator which can protect the semiconductor ICs from the spark currents caused by the short circuit due to the involved foreign matters. SOLUTION: Since a spark current limiter 3 is provided between the minus terminal of the capacitor C2 which is the signal GND in the high voltage generator 11 and the high voltage GND, it is possible to limit the potential rise of the signal GND and protect the semiconductor ICs from damages caused by the spark currents of the short circuit due to the involved foreign matters. |
