TRANSMISSION POWER OPTIMIZING DEVICE FOR NETWORK AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method that executes a protocol to optimize transmission power so that a node conducting multi-point communication (1:N) in a network can reduce the transmission power consumption while maintaining communication quality at a proper level. SOLUTION: The transmission power optimizing device for a network of this invention is provided with a communication section that sends/receives data packets through air and with a control section that outputs a control signal to adjust transmission power on the basis of connection information of data packets received via the communication section. The connection information includes reception signal strength and/or link quality information.
