The remote maintenance server also makes inquires to the fault information storage server 41 of the service site when the fault information does not exist. The fault information storage server answers the information for addressing the fault to the remote maintenance server when the received fault information exists in a database. The remote maintenance server updates the fault information database with the answered information for addressing the fault and also displays the information for addressing the fault on the display 35.
