TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING EQUIPMENT WITH ARRAY ANTENNA AND TUNING METHOD FOR THIS ARRAY ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transmitting/receiving equipment equipped with an array antenna, of which the depth and the direction of the pre-tuned zero point are not deteriorated when a zero point is obtained in the mutual interfering direction at transmitting/receiving array antennas, and tuning method for this array antenna. SOLUTION: The best tuning effect is obtained after checking all over tuning effects for a receiving phase shifter 3a∼3M of a receiving array antenna 7. The zero point for the pattern of the receiving array antenna is set to optimal, by fine tuning of the setting value only for the extracted receiving phase shifter (one piece out of 3a∼3M) so that the reception power of the receiver 9 becomes minimum.
