PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery with improved battery life and reliability by making a sealing opening of a terminal part with a comparatively simple and solid structure. SOLUTION: With the sealed battery of which a head part of a bolt is buried and fixed in a pole of a battery and a screw part of the bolt is penetrated from an opening of a battery case or its lid toward outside the battery to make up a terminal, a cylindrical pendent frame body is provided on the bottom face at the periphery of the opening, at bottom part of which, a bottomed cylindrical rubber elastic body equipped with a hole for the screw part to penetrate into is put on the pole by having the screw part penetrate into the hole. Airtightness of the sealed battery is maintained as the pole covered with the rubber elastic body is inserted into the pendent frame body, fastened with a nut mounted on the screw part, and a top face of the pole and a peripheral part of the opening are pressed together. |
