PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view a desirable program by a simple operation. SOLUTION: Channel select information of a viewed program and device information of a device having a tuner function which received the program are stored corresponding to each other. When a display operation of the information is carried out in ST11, the information stored in ST12 is displayed. When a viewed program is selected from the information displayed in ST13, the routine proceeds to ST14. In ST14, a logic connection with the device having the tuner function indicated in the device information stored corresponding to the channel select information of the selected program is established. In ST15, a channel select command is issued from an audio-visual device to the device having the tuner function in which the logic connection is established. In ST16, the program is output based on a stream supplied from the device having the tuner function. It is possible to automatically carry out a selection of the device having the tuner function or a channel select operation in the device having the tuner function.
