PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a hardness of an elastic layer and provide a conductive roller whose brittleness of the elastic layer is improved. SOLUTION: The conductive roller is provided with as essential components an isobutylene-based polymer having in the molecule at least one hydrosilanizable alkenyl group, a compound having at least two hydrosilyl groups in the molecule, a hydrosilanization catalyst and carbon black, and is obtained by hardening around a metallic shaft a composition containing two or more kinds of compounds having at least two hydrosilyl groups in the molecule.
