PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine which can promote sales of specific articles, by making specific articles more conspicuous than normal articles. SOLUTION: The vending machine is equipped with a normal article sample display part 31a, where article samples 32a of the normal articles are displayed and a specific article sample display part 31b where article samples 32b of the specific articles set independently of the normal articles, are displayed. Furthermore, the vending machine has a normal selection button 33a for indicating the selection of a normal article, and a specific selection button 33b for indicating the selection of a specific. The specific selection button 33b is formed larger than the normal selection button 33a. The area, which includes the specific article sample display part 31b and specific selection button 33b, is surrounded with a surrounding display part 45. The specific articles are made more conspicuous than the normal articles, to increase their appeal for the specific articles to users, thereby promoting the sales of the specific articles.
