PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure easier access the WWW server from a mobile terminal by simplifying URL input manipulation at the mobile terminal. SOLUTION: Mobile terminal 1 is provided with a bar-code reader for reading a bar-code. Thereby, the URL address information of the WWW server 9 reads the coded bar-code 2a and then transmits the bar-code. The transmitted bar-code data are received by a mobile telephone office 5 via a radio base station 3 and an exclusive communication line 4. The mobile telephone office 5 sends the received bar-code data, namely the URL address information which is coded to he bar-code 2a, to a DNS server 10 via the Internet 6. Thereby, the mobile telephone office 5 can obtain the corresponding IP address and request a necessary file to the WWW server 9. Thereafter, the mobile telephone office 5 transmits the file received from the WWW server 9 to the mobile terminal 1, and the contents of the file can be displayed on the display area of the mobile terminal 1.
