PURPOSE: A long distance automatic arc igniting apparatus for a scarfing machine is provided which automatically and directly ignites the unit in a long distance by removing a gas ignition burner and melting wires using arc, thereby spraying arc sparks with air. CONSTITUTION: The long distance automatic arc igniting apparatus for a scarfing machine comprises a rectangular case panel mounted on the frame of a scarfing machine; two cylindrical wire drums(60) equipped in the case panel; wires(90) coiled around each of the wire drums(60); a head(300) which is equipped at the lower side of the wire drums(60) so as to be connected by the wires(90); a body(70) which forms the outskirts of the head(300); an air motor rotation shaft which is equipped in the head(300) so that the rotation shaft is axially connected to air lines(150,160); a cylindrical feeding roll which is integrally formed at the air motor rotation shaft and has circular grooves into which each of the wires(90) are inserted; a pressing plate roll which presses the feeding roll; a pressing plate(190) which presses the pressing plate roll; two wire nozzles(110) which are inserted into the wires(90); a nozzle socket which is integrally equipped between the wire nozzles(110); an air nozzle(120) which is inserted into the nozzle socket and positioned at the center of the wire nozzles(110); and an air motor(170) which is axially connected to the air motor rotation shaft so that the air motor(170) is operated when air is supplied.
