PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer, which can easily make leakage inductances variable and a power unit, which can effectively utilize the capacity of the transformer. SOLUTION: The transformer 10 is provided with bobbins 12 and a core 14. The center shaft of one 12A of the bobbins 12 passes through a bobbin 22 for primary winding, and the bobbin 22 is fixed to the bobbin 12a by tightening nuts 24 and 26 from both sides. Similarly, the center shaft of the other bobbin 12B passes through a bobbin 28 for secondary winding and the bobbin 28 is fixed to the bobbin 12B, by tightening nuts 30 and 32 from both sides. The position of the bobbin 28 for secondary winding can be adjusted, by adjusting the tightening positions of the nuts 24, 26, 30, and 32. Therefore, the distanceΔX between primary and second windings can be set arbitrarily.
