<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accident prevention trough for electric cable connectors, which does not require maintenance and extinguishes a fire by smothering if any accident occurs at a connector. SOLUTION: If an accident occurs at an electric cable connector 11, an impact force is developed, resulting that the connector 11 is destroyed and its fragments are scattered. However, the fragments are confined in a diameter direction by a pipe-shaped trough 21, so that only a blast blows off lengthwise of the pipe-shaped trough 21. This blast expands a sheet 23, releasing pressure. Thus, the airtightness within the sheet 23 is maintained, resulting that fire is immediately extinguished by smothering even if the fire occurs at the connector 11.</p> |
