PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize a dynamic image and/or a voice and a text automatically. SOLUTION: Upon receiving a scene edition request signal from a user, a scene describing circuit 16 reads out a corresponding BIFS node from a storage unit 14 and describes an initial scene into a scene description file 18 by arranging respective nodes spatially and temporally. The scene describing circuit 16 informs the ID number of an AV object being used next to an AV bit stream analyzing circuit 12 which reads out an AV bit stream corresponding to the informed ID number from a storage unit 10, and analyzes it to detect various events and to extract text data by a speech recognition technology. Information of various events thus detected is stored in an event management table along with the extracted text data. When the AV bit stream analyzing circuit 12 finishes analysis of all AV data, the scene describing circuit 16 describes a BIFS command additionally to the scene description file 18 with reference to a generated event management table.
