<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a short-term convergence of the reservation of a network resource due to the concentration, immediately after the generation of a fault. SOLUTION: When respective processes 13, 23 receive a RESVTEAR message, they release a secured resource once, and make reference to a cause code in the RESVTEAR message. When the code is a node trouble or a link trouble, they calculate: a new request bandwidth = (allocation bandwidth before trouble)×(resource allocation factor in trouble) and request a bandwidth. Alternatively, the respective processes calculate: a new request bandwidth = (bandwidth secured until the last time) + (bandwidth before trouble)×(resource allocation factor in restoration of trouble), in order to increase the allocation bandwidth after a prescribed time has elapsed and request a bandwidth.</p> |
