PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode forming method of a plasma display, which has full accuracy in the dimensions and positions of electrodes, a high mass productivity and capable of manufacturing the plasma display at a low cost. SOLUTION: This electrode-forming method includes an electrode paste coating process, which coats an electrode paste P on the outer surface 17a of a gravureroll 17 on which concave parts 18, 18, and so on are formed, and an a salvage process of an excess electrode-paste which recovers the electrode paste pressed out from the concave parts 18, 18, and so on and also an electrode attaching process which adheres the electrode paste P filled in the concave parts 18, 18, and so on a base glass G.
