PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover bag for a portable telephone which combines various performance, such as (1) that it can effectively prevent malfunctions of peripheral equipment or adverse effects on the user himself, since it has favorable shielding property against electromagnetic waves even though it is possible of reception and sending of a message and telephonic communication, (2) that noise at telephonic communication caused by a rigid electromagnetic wave shielding sheet is small, too, (3) that the button of the portable telephone is easy of operation, and (4) that it can be used at a place where it is exposed to water or the user can hold the telephone with wet hand, and others. SOLUTION: This is a cover bag which is possible of reception and sending of a message and telephonic communication under a condition that a portable telephone is stored in itself and also can suppress the quantity of leaked electromagnetic waves. One region of the bag, constituted of obverse and reverse sheets, is constituted of a nonshielding sheet (1) consisting of a transparent resin film substantially which does not have electromagnetic shielding property. Then, the remaining region of the bag is constituted of a shielding sheet (2) consisting of a resin film where conductive processing is applied, so that it may have necessary electromagnetic shielding property.
