PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for holding disk that has excellent grinding characteristics and is lightweight. SOLUTION: The spacer 1 for holding disk is composed of a sintered mixture including calcium phosphate and iron oxide. The content of calcium phosphate is preferably 5 to 80 wt.% in the mixture, and the content of iron oxide is preferably 20 to 70 wt.% in the mixture.
