PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic fire alarm system which receives a detection signal of a fire detector and can easily decide whether a fire breaks out. SOLUTION: This system is provided with the fire detector 2 having a microphone 27 for inputting ambient voice and converting the voice into an electric signal and a voice transmitting part 28 for transmitting the electric signal outputted from the microphone 27 through a detector line 8 and with an automatic fire alarm receiver 3 having a signal processing part 37 for receiving a fire detection signal from a transmission signal inputted from the fire detector 2 among a plurality of fire detectors connected to the detector line 8 and detecting the voice electric signal from the transmission signal, and a speaker 3A for converting the electric signal output of the part 37 into voice, and outputs the voice from the speaker 3A, when the receiver 3 receives the fire detection signal from the fire detector 2.
