PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent reflection film having improved weather resistance and maintaining desired transmittance and to provide an optical recording medium which uses the film. SOLUTION: The translucent reflection film 3 is obtained by forming an alloy thin film consisting of a CuAg alloy containing Ag by 0.3 to 10.0 wt.% in addition to Cu and containing a material to improve the corrosion resistance, for example Ti, by 0.01 to 5.0 wt.%. The optical recording medium 11 is manufactured by using the translucent reflection film 3 as a structural element.
