PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp structured so as to prevent a short- circuit contact of a lead wire easily and simply, in the case of the one whose lead wire needs to be arranged for fitting of a base in an electrode part. SOLUTION: With the fluorescent lamp 20 which has an electrode 14 sealed at both ends of a glass tube 21 through a stem 12 and a base pin of a metal base fitted at the end of the glass tube connected together with a lead wire, the lead wire is sealed and bonded to the stem 14 on one hand, and is drawn outside of a sealing end face 24a of the glass tube, on the other, and moreover, it is so structured that Dumet wires 17a, 17b with the surface insulated and outer lead wires 18a, 18b connected with the Dumet wires and extended to connect with the base pin are bonded with each other. |
