PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glass ceramic substrate in an improved surface state with extremely high dimension accuracy and without any problem in a debinder regardless of burning in nitrogen by reliably constraining the sintering shrinkage of a glass ceramic green sheet. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the glass ceramic substrate comprises processes for laminating a plurality of glass ceramic green sheets where a conductor pattern is formed on the surface to manufacture a laminate 1 (i), laminating a constraint green sheet that contains a sintering-retardant inorganic material and an organic binder on both the surfaces of a laminate by interposing an adhesive layer containing glass, an oxidizer, and a solvent (ii), removing an organic constituent from the laminate and then manufacturing a glass ceramic substrate that has been burned and retains a constraint sheet (iii), and removing the constraint sheet from the substrate (iv), and the glass content of the adhesive layer is equal to the quantity that is removed from the glass ceramic substrate along with the constraint sheet after burning while the constraint green sheet is connected to the glass ceramic green sheet in burning (v). |
