<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for transmitting ATM cells by effectively utilizing a normal subscriber's line G. 961 standard (128 kb/s) without laying an expensive transmission line such as an optical fiber in the case of transmitting the ATM cells of 500 kb/s or less. SOLUTION: In this ATM cell transmission system, signals for which the ATM cell is divided into plural in a separation device are transmitted by plural subscribers, lines and the signals transmitted by the plural subscribers, lines are restored to the ATM cells by connecting them in a multiplexer.</p> |
