<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector and its manufacturing method capable of reducing the load per electrode and shortening the connection length. SOLUTION: A frame-shaped insulating plate 30 is arranged between an electronic circuit board 10 and an electric connection object 20 consisting of an LSI and the like, and an insulating elastic holding layer 35 is formed inside the insulating plate 30. A plurality of conductive elastic contacts 39 are buried in line separately from each other in the elastic holding layer 35, and each of the elastic contacts 39 is bent into the shape of 2 substantially in a cross section, while upper and lower ends of the elastic contact 39 are slightly exposed from the front and back faces of the elastic holding layer 35. A connection load in conduction between the electronic circuit board 10 and the electric connection object 20 can be freely set according to the curved shape and material of the elastic contact 39 or hardness and thickness of the elastic elastomer 38, and consequently, the connection load can be lowered while connection reliability is maintained.</p> |
