PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss in a composite resonance type switching converter, secure stable ZVS under heavy load conditions, and improve manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: The primary winding and secondary winding of an insulating converter transformer, provided in a composite resonance type switching power supply circuit, are wound respectively in directions opposite to each other and are connected to each other in an additive polarity manner. With such a constitution, since a primary flux and a secondary flux cancel each other, the core of the insulating converter transformer is not saturated, even if a gap is not formed in the core.
