ELECTROSTATIC CARTRIDGE FILTER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An electrostatic cartridge filter and a manufacturing method thereof are provided in which pleating is easily done using a non-woven fabric manufactured by mixing an electrostatic fiber with a fiber having a low melting point. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrostatic cartridge filter comprises the steps of manufacturing an electrostatic fiber by mixing polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) with polypropylene(PP) and spinning the mixture; manufacturing an electrostatic non-woven fabric by mixing the electrostatic fiber with a fiber having a low melting point, and carding the mixture; and heat treating the electrostatic non-woven fabric and pleating the heat treated electrostatic non-woven fabric in a pleater. The method for manufacturing an electrostatic cartridge filter comprises the steps of manufacturing an electrostatic fiber by mixing polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) with polypropylene(PP) and spinning the mixture; manufacturing an electrostatic non-woven fabric using the electrostatic fiber manufactured in the electrostatic fiber manufacturing step; manufacturing a non-woven fabric layer with a fiber having a low melting point by needle punching a fiber having a low melting point on one surface of the electrostatic non-woven fabric manufactured in the electrostatic non-woven fabric manufacturing step; and heat treating the non-woven fabric and pleating the heat treated non-woven fabric in a pleater.
