PROCESS FOR PRODUCING FLUOROALKANOL

A process for fluoroalkanol production which can be industrially easily practiced with high selectivity. The process comprises continuously feeding CHR<1>R<2>OH, a free-radical initiator, and CF2=CFR to react them at 105 to 135 DEG C and continuously discharging the H-(CFRCF2)n-CR<1>R<2>-OH yielded (wherein R<1> and R<2> each is hydrogen or C1-3 alkyl; R is fluorine or C1-4 polyfluoroalkyl; and n is an integer of 1 to 4).
