PURPOSE: An ion mobility spectrometer capable of improving linearity of an ion flight path through a non-linear drift region by enhancing an electric field due to extensions of guard rings into the non-linear drift region is provided. Therefore, the spectrometer is improved in disintegrating ability. CONSTITUTION: The ion mobility spectrometer comprises: a series of metal rings forming a cylinder having each inner diameter, outer diameter and depth, two end parts and a central region and providing an electric field gradient passing the central region; a control grid(3) disposed on one end part of the series of metal rings; an ion collector(4) disposed on one end part of the series of metal rings countered to the control grid; and at least second metal ring disposed at the medium thereof through at least one metal ring, wherein the second metal ring has smaller inner diameter and depth than the metal ring, and the second metal ring is extended further into the central region than the metal ring.
