The inlet chamber (5) includes a sheet metal baffle (8) guiding the airflow. On one side it forms an air inlet opening of reduced cross section. On the other side, between inlet opening and filter (4) an expansion chamber (11) is formed which reduces the flow velocity to a value assisting separation of entrained particles in the filter.
