PURPOSE: A sports lecture system using the Internet and a managing method thereof are provided to overcome the limitation of space and time by selecting an attending lecture and attending the selected lecture through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a terminal(110_1,110_2,..,110_n) such as a computer, an Internet terminal and an Internet set-top applying a selecting lecture and requesting a transmission of applied sports lecture, a sports lecture server(130) providing the sports lecture information and the applied sports lecture to the terminal, and a network(120) such as the Internet connecting the terminal and the sports lecture server. The sports lecture server includes a member management server(131), a real time relay server(132), a VOD(Video On Demand) server(133) and an exercise information providing server(135).
