Rubber additive compositions in which at least one additive component is in microencapsulated form. Rubber additive composition containing at least one additive component (a) which is coated with a material (b) to form microcapsules. Independent claims are included covering (a) a process for preparing the microencapsulated additives; (b) use of the microencapsulated additives for the preparation of rubber, rubber mixes and rubber products.
