The folding machine has a reversing belt (5) which on its outer-side has at least one ridge-shaped protuberance (9) diagonal to its direction of travel. The ridge section (10) rises towards the direction of travel and drops to both edges of the belt.The front end (11) of the ridge section is nearer to, and its opposite end (12) further from, the fold-edge (13) of the side flap (4). The ridge section is defined by an enclosed wrapper end inside which several successive support bodies are positioned. The front parts of the support bodies are rounded. |
