<p>In the arc welding, compared to the conventional cosntant speed wire feeding, it is advantageous to use the pulsate wire feeding, but there are still several disadvantages in the prior pulsate wire feeding mechanism. The invention provides a feeding mechanism that comprises a planar grip head which can grip welding wires reliably instead of the prior three-ball grip head, and instead of the prior rigid, bearing drive, elastic elements including spring plates and a steel rope are used in the feeding mechanism. Accordingly, the size, weight and cost of the mechanism are reduced, and the service life is increased, moreover, it can be used to feed soft wires such as aluminum wires without surface damage.</p> |
