PURPOSE: A device for sealing and cleaning electrically and manually operated valves for a gas pipe is provided to confirm leakage of a gas by filling water between a pair of separated plates which are installed in valves and parallel to each other, and wash and remove impurities adhered to the inside of the valves. CONSTITUTION: In a device for sealing and washing valves(20) which are equipped with a pair of vertically movable separated plates and mounted on certain positions of a gas transferring pipe(10), the device for sealing and cleaning electrically and manually operated valves for a gas pipe comprises a water pipe(81) which receives a certain flow rate of water by operation of a switch valve(85a), and which is connected to a float valve built-in water storage tank(81); a vent pipe(82) having a certain elevation, and a steam pipe(83) having a switch valve(83a), wherein a separator(40) is mounted on a cover(24) of the valves(20) so as to seal or wash the valve(20) by connecting two pipes out of the water pipe, the vent pipe(82) and the steam pipe(83) to a space in the cover(24).
