RELEASE COATED POLYMER FILM

PURPOSE: A release coating agent and a coated polymer film having release properties are provided, to improve the release properties by employing both a polyolefin wax and a cross-linkable acryl. CONSTITUTION: The release coating agent comprises water applied to a polymer film; about 0.05-5 wt.% of a cross-linkable acryl; and about 0.05-15 wt.% of a polyolefin wax. Preferably the release coating agent release is an aqueous coating agent. At least one between the cross-linkable acryl and the polyolefin wax is water-dispersive. Preferably the polyolefin wax is selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, polytetrafluoroethylene and their mixtures. The release coated polymer film comprises a base polymer film; and a release coating (containing the cross-linkable acryl and the polyolefin wax) formed on the film. The dry coating thickness is preferably about 0.0004-0.06 micrometers.
