Brake booster for vehicle has brake adapter (8) and pressure rod which transfers the pedal pressure to the brake booster. An acoustic element (13), e.g. nonwoven cotton, plastic foam, is fixed at the outer wall of the booster housing (6) which is turned to the passenger compartment (1).
