PURPOSE: A construction method of underground water storing facilities is provided to restrain the buoyancy of a water tank, to control water level automatically and to construct strong storing facilities against earth pressure. CONSTITUTION: The construction method of underground water storing facilities(B) comprises the steps of excavating a storing space at the appointed depth by marking off an area required for utilizing underground water and placing footing concrete(3) on the bottom of the storing space, spreading a discharge sheet(5) from the upper part of the footing concrete(3) and to the surface of a column(2), forming a water tank(1) by piling water tubs in layers, installing an intake pipe(6) connected to a water intake well(20) with through holes on a lower through hole of a base water tub(7-1) and connecting an exhaust pipe(16) with intake/exhaust holes led to the air on the lower through hole of the uppermost water tub(7-N) to the surface of the earth, winding up the edge of a floor discharge sheet(18) and binding around the base water tank, covering a waterproof sheet from the uppermost water tank to the upper floor of the base water tank to flow filtered underground water into the through hole of the base water tank, and constructing a filtering layer by refilling up the surrounding space of the water tank with filter sand(11), charcoal(12), grit(13), fine aggregate(14) and soils(19) in orders.
