Disclosed is an in-line skate for easily inhibiting rotation of its wheels to shorten braking distance by rearward inclination of its boot. The in-line skate has a plurality of wheels (41, 42, 43, 44) arranged in line within a wheel carrier (30) attached to a bottom base of a skate boot (20). The skate includes a rear arm (50) for supporting certain number of wheels (43, 44) positioned at a rear part of the wheel carrier (30), a pivot pin (60) for rotatably supporting the rear arm (50) to the wheel carrier (30), and braking means (34) provided at the wheel carrier (30) for braking the rear wheels (43, 44), which is rotated about the pivot pin (60) and comes into contact with the rear wheels (43, 44) when the skate boot (20) is inclined rearward. |
