<p>A container lid (1) and one segment (100), a closing surface (4) having at its peripheral edge a channel (16) to engage a container rim (8) for sealing said rim (8) and a container opening by said channel (16) and said closing surface (4), said one segment (100) being integral with, captured by said lid (1) so as to prevent separation, said one segment (100) including an axial skirt (26) which extends past said channel (16), said skirt (26) including along a portion thereof a flange (28) at an upper location on said skirt (26) and a second flange (30) at a lower location on said skirt (26), so that said first flange (28) engages said lid (1) and said second flange (30) engages directly or indirectly a locking flange (76) on said container (10), so that it prevents said lid (1) from moving with respect to said container (10).</p> |
