<p>A novel data gathering method includes determining criteria for transferring a selected data portion (112-120) from a source (106(N)) to at least one destination (110(N)), interfacing with the source (106(N)), gathereing the selected data portion (112-120) and other data according to the criteria, and distributing the data (112-120) and the other data to at least one destination (110(N)) according to the criteria. Optionally, the gathered data (112-120) is manipulated and/or augmented according to the gather criteria. Such processing of the data (112-120) may occur before, during, and/or after the gathering and/or distribution of the data (112-120). A system (102) for implementing the novel method is also disclosed.</p> |
